Popular content creator Esther Raphael, widely known as Buba Girl, alongside her boyfriend Victor, is facing widespread backlash after a private conversation between the two leaked in the early hours of today. The chat, now making rounds across social media, contains unflattering and deeply personal comments about Buba Girl’s close friends, Energy Goddess and Celynukam.

Screenshots from the leaked chat reveal both Buba Girl and Victor engaging in discussions that many online users have described as malicious and insensitive, particularly given the subjects involved were close allies of the influencer.

Energy Goddess took to her TikTok story to respond to the situation, stating how deeply betrayed she felt. She revealed that Buba Girl had just spent the previous night in her home, sharing her space and trust.

“Honestly, this is funny. For the fact that this human being slept on the same bed with me yesterday, it is so scary,” she wrote in a post. In a follow-up, she added, “Everybody gossips, yes but I have never gossiped about someone I call my best friend, not to talk of with so much hate.”

Celynukam, also mentioned in the conversation, expressed her disappointment in a public post, reflecting on how she was there for Buba Girl during one of her most challenging periods the viral leak of her explicit video in 2023.

“I told myself that may a day never come where I get to drop stuff like this online, but at this point, I am so, so not pleased! No remorse, no love just pure hatred for everyone. May your favs never see what she said about them though… let’s just pity you,” she said.

She went on to share how she emotionally supported Buba Girl at the time, saying: “Even when the world was against you dragging and bullying you I never joined them. I made sure you were okay. And today, you think the best thing to do is to body shame me? Girl, you’re evil.”

The situation has triggered widespread conversations online, with many social media users calling it a lesson on loyalty, trust, and the fragility of friendships in the influencer space.

As at the time of filing this report, Buba Girl has yet to issue any statement, apology, or defense regarding the leaked chat.
